DESCRIPTION:Collaboration and community have shaped the musical life of songwriter and musician Bjarni\\n\\nDan&iacute\;el\, who grew up in Reykjav&iacute\;k and has deep roots in the city&#39\;s vibrant music scene. As a\\n\\nmember of bands such as Supersport!\, Skoff&iacute\;n and bagdad brothers\, his voice has become\\n\\nsynonymous with the ideals of the local DIT (do-it-together) movement\, spearheaded by the music\\n\\nand art collective Post-dreifing.\\n\\nBjarni Dan&iacute\;el&#39\;s compositions display a penchant for rawness and vulnerability\, as evident on &quot\;the\\n\\nbull&#39\;s eye&quot\; - an exclusive Bandcamp release. This collection includes numerous musical ideas in\\n\\ntheir simplest forms\, mostly recorded with Bjarni&#39\;s cell phone in the raw moments of their creation.\\n\\nHe is currently working on his debut solo album\, which will be produced by Bjarni&#39\;s longtime friend\\n\\nand collaborator &Aacute\;rni Hj&ouml\;rvar &Aacute\;rnason\, a member of British indie icons The Vaccines. &ldquo\;D&Iacute\;SEL&rdquo\; the\\n\\ntitle track and first single off the upcoming album was released in may.
